Stemming from the idea of the living archive, the Bassline is an audio visual artwork by Ashley Henry that engages with archives of Black creativity, connecting these archives to present day conversations around practice, collaboration and community building. It is possible to navigate chapters of the exhibition through an augmented reality experience, while other chapters are located within the Vinyl rooms.
The baseline features artists Ken Nwadiogbu, Roxanne Simone, and Marie Smith.
