ART KINSHIP HIGHLIGHTED

AKH is a London-based curatorial and artists' collective founded in 2022

Exploring and archiving the work of Black artists; Crafting a culture of collaboration, kinship, and care.

Art Kinship Highlighted was created to celebrate and explore collective expression using locality as a catalyst to generate sonic and or visual sketch scenes of new world experiences. AKH fosters kinship and dialogue, not just between artists, but between artforms, whether they be visual, sonic, linguistic, or spatial. Questions of identity, relation, history, futurisms, and innovation drive our work. AKH is a collaboration between musician and jazz artist Ashley Henry, and curator Eddy Ade Akin.
